Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and operating suites prior to surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nursing teams during operative procedures in accordance with protocol.
- Maintain surgical asepsis, sterile fields, and infection control standards in the theatre.
- Manage operation theatre equipment setup and report operational maintenance requirements.
- Support safe patient handling, positioning, and transfer before and after surgical cases.
- Monitor stock levels of surgical consumables and maintain inventory logs for the OT unit.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Operation Theatre Technology
- Relevant experience in OT procedures and patient care preferred
