Departmental Context & Facility Scope
Key Clinical & Departmental Accountabilities
- Examine patients attending the outpatient department to diagnose medical conditions using clinical assessment techniques.
- Prescribe appropriate Ayurvedic medicines and traditional treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient history records in facility registers.
- Conduct follow-up evaluations to monitor clinical progress and adjust medication dosages as required.
- Manage basic clinical procedures and triage walk-in cases during working hours.
- Counsel patients regarding preventive healthcare practices, diet, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree.
- Valid registration with the State AYUSH Council or relevant Indian medical authority.
