POSTS AND VACANCIES
1. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (READER) IN NURSING – LEVEL 12 – 2 posts.
2. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR / LECTURER IN NURSING – LEVEL 11 – 3 posts.
3. TUTOR / CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR – LEVEL 10 – 8 posts.
Reservation: UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS as per Government of India policy. 4 % of total posts reserved for PwBD candidates under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Vacancies are provisional and may vary.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Associate Professor (Reader) – Master’s Degree in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution, registration as Nurse and Midwife, eight years post‑M.Sc. experience including five years teaching. Ph.{ODM Rx Protected} Nursing is desirable.
Assistant Professor / Lecturer – Master’s Degree in Nursing, registration as Nurse and Midwife, five years total experience with at least two years teaching.
Tutor / Clinical Instructor – B.Sc. Nursing or Post‑B.Sc. Nursing degree recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, registration as Nurse/Midwife, three years teaching experience. M.Sc. Nursing is desirable.
AGE LIMIT AND RELAXATION
Maximum age on 12 JUNE 2026: 50 years for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor; 35 years for Tutor/Clinical Instructor.
Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC‑NCL – 3 years; PwBD – 10 years; Government servants (DoPT instruction) – 5 years; Ex‑Servicemen – 5 years. No relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
APPLICATION FEE
Rs 500 payable by UR, OBC and EWS {ODM Rx Protected}, ST and PwBD candidates are exempt. Fee, once paid, is non‑refundable. Payment link provided on the AIIMS RAJKOT portal.
