🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including visual acuity testing, refraction, and slit lamp examinations
- Perform cataract surgeries, pterygium excision, and other minor ophthalmic procedures
- Manage emergency eye cases including corneal abrasions, foreign body removal, and acute glaucoma
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Counsel patients on eye health, diabetic retinopathy screening, and preventive eye care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
- MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with Gujarat Medical Council or NMC
- 0-3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and surgical techniques
