JOB SUMMARY
The institute seeks a male and a female Hostel Mentor to supervise its residential students. The role combines discipline enforcement, student counselling, safety oversight, and activity coordination.

- Enforce hostel rules and maintain discipline among residents.
- Supervise daily student activities and monitor attendance.
- Act as mentor, guide, and counselor whenever a student requires support.
- Safeguard the security, health, and well‑being of all hostel occupants.
- Keep accurate hostel records, including attendance and incident logs.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and management to discuss student progress or concerns.
- Ensure adherence to study schedules, meal timings, and routine housekeeping.
- Address grievances promptly and resolve conflicts without delay.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities.
- Report any misconduct, bullying, ragging, or rule violations to senior staff.
- Assist in emergencies and communicate actions to management without hesitation.
- Promote cleanliness, hygiene, and healthy living habits among residents.
- Organise motivational, educational, and character‑building activities.
- Submit periodic reports to hostel administration and senior management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY
- Minimum graduate degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in hostel management, student counselling, or related supervisory role is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English and the regional language.
- Ability to handle emergencies and maintain composure under pressure.
