India's First Onboard ATM Launched on Mumbai-Manmad Panchavati Express

In a historic move, Indian Railways has introduced the country's first onboard ATM on the Mumbai-Manmad Panchavati Express. Installed inside an AC coach, this ATM allows passengers to withdraw cash, request chequebooks, and view account statements while on the go. Operated in collaboration with the Bank of Maharashtra under the INFRIS scheme, the ATM successfully completed its trial run. This service will also benefit passengers on the Mumbai-Hingoli Jan Shatabdi Express as both trains share the same rake. If successful, more trains may soon follow suit.
