Objective of the Final Project

In this final project, you will create and optimize a website to demonstrate your SEO skills. The goal is to implement all the SEO techniques learned throughout the course to achieve measurable results in terms of traffic, ranking, and user engagement.

Steps for the Final Project

1. Website Creation:

   Build a website or use an existing one. Ensure it has at least 5 pages, including the homepage, blog, and contact page.

2. Keyword Research:

   Identify 10-15 target keywords relevant to your website's niche. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest.

3. On-Page Optimization:

   Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and content for the selected keywords. Ensure proper use of internal linking.

4. Content Creation:

   Write at least two blog posts using long-tail keywords. Ensure the content is engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly.

5. Technical SEO:

   Fix any technical issues like slow loading speed, broken links, and mobile-friendliness. Generate an XML sitemap and robots.txt file.

6. Backlink Building:

   Create 5 high-quality backlinks using guest blogging, outreach, or directory submissions.

7. Local SEO:

   If applicable, optimize for local search by creating a Google My Business profile and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency.

8. Analytics and Reporting:

   Set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track your website's performance. Prepare a report with key metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings, and bounce rate.

Deliverables

• A fully functional and optimized website.
• A keyword research report with selected keywords and their search volume.
• A performance report showing the results achieved after implementing SEO techniques.
